that is crap, only bmx i canny believe that!! hmm, that makes stuff even more complicated cos i was thinking that one bike would be enough for uni, but if there is street, dj and dh i might have to take both bikes! do you keep them in a bike shed? or in your flat?

Ya man it's pretty easy just undo all the adjustment caps then unscrew the top and bottoms....easy as that pull them out. Only thing I could see going wrong is all the adjustments has little ball bearing in them so they lock into place so just make sure you watch out for those and the high speed compression adjustment on the bottom of the right leg has tiny screw ...when you put it back together put some blue lock tight on it or it will fall out. Other then that its really easy! Good luck. any other questions feel free to ask

Yeah the rear end on a stab is pretty wierd by any means. The actual size between the frame is 150mm, however the DOPE bracket which fits on the axle is 15mm wide, meaning that in actual fact, the rear hub size is reduced to 135mm.
I didn't know this, and bought a full wheelset with Hope Pro 2 hubs front and back. And upon fitting them discovered i'd made a severe f*ck up!
So anyway I had a look and it turns out that if you cut the rear axle down by 6mm and make some little spacers you can get a pro 2 hub to fit easily.
I'll put some pics up in a bit

I love it, Quick engagement, weights pretty fair considering its strength for sure. Doesn't require to much work to keep it running smooth. Worth the price for sure

no this one is the one you want, the other you posted a link for is the old style saint which used a larger centre lock rotor and wont fit the cassette.

these aint all that much more exspensive, although the slx should be good.
and the best bit is all you need to fit them is a bb tool and shimano cassette tool.

i had problems with hayes warping an awfull lot the metal just seems soft.
shimano are pretty solid with a good design for stiffness, and the new alloy centre ones are even stiffer.

according to the hype the saint are 400% better sealed than the m801 model, and my friends m801 have been rolling a year and a bit and still feel as sweet now as they did when bought new.
the freehub is quiet but im hoping it beds in and becomes a little louder.
i havnt ridden them but from past experiences and i know shimano know there stuff you wont be getting a bad deal at all.
there is a dude on here called benjboi or something similar and he has them, has the hub as his avatar pic with a white rim.
